"We are inspired by the vision for this park. Palo Alto is full of wonderful parks, but this will be the first that allows all children, many who have had to watch from the sidelines, to fully participate in play with friends and family. We invite existing and new donors to find the generosity needed to make this park a reality!"
— Dave Peery, Peery Foundation
People with disabilities constitute the nation’s largest minority group, and is the only group any of us can become a member of at any time. In fact, between 1990 and 2000, individuals with disabilities increased 25%, outpacing any other subgroup of the U.S. population. Over 10,000 individuals in Palo Alto have a disability and not one of our city’s 34 public parks fully meets their needs. It is time we give everyone a place to play.
Join us in building the nation's most innovative inclusive public playground.
The Peery Foundation will match up to $1 million in funding for donations received on or after April 18, 2013 through June 15, 2013. ›› read more.

“We want to celebrate abilities, not disabilities. This park will be a place for all families to play outside, form friendships and simply have fun. It still astounds me that we are building the first place to address the many different play needs of the many different kinds of children who live in our community. What better place than Silicon Valley to showcase our social innovation!”
