The Magical Friendship Club is all about breaking down barriers to friendship and belonging. Too often, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities face long stretches of loneliness and isolation. This gathering is a chance to change that—one game, laugh, and handshake at a time.

About the event
The Magical Friendship Club is a warm, welcoming space where everyone is encouraged to be themselves, discover common interests, and build new connections. Kindness Ambassador Leader Izzy Grimmer is hosting this event as part of her journey toward earning the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award. Izzy’s inspiration comes from her own brother, who has an intellectual disability, and from seeing how meaningful friendship can transform someone’s sense of belonging. She’s committed to creating experiences where every participant feels valued, seen, and included.
