About the event
We are excited to welcome you to this free community event at The 222 Gallery in Healdsburg. The Musical Bridge was developed for Magical Bridge Foundation, a Palo Alto-based nonprofit known for creating award-winning inclusive playgrounds and multigenerational programs.
To make music with the Musical Bridge, you'll simply touch the note pads and listen as AI transforms your movement into a living, evolving soundtrack. It adapts and composes original soundscapes that are unique to each person and each moment, while also fostering connection by allowing multiple people to improvise music together.
Developed under the leadership of musicologist Dr. Nolan Gasser, architect of Pandora’s The Music Genome Project®, exhibit designer DavidTorgersen, and AI engineers at Quantiphi, powered by NVIDIA hardware and software, this first-of-its-kind soundscape is playful, expressive, and welcoming to everyone.
