Start a Magical Bridge
Inclusive Program or School Club

Magical Bridge welcomes you to join our mission to build more inclusive communities by starting a club or program in your community or at your school. It could be an on-going school club focused on kindness, a concert or cultural event, a craft or learning activity, a sports day or camp for neurodiverse participants — whatever aligns with your interests. It's a wonderful way to get involved in your community, build your leadership and organization skills, and have fun doing meaningful work.

Our free Playbooks below give students, educators, parents, and community leaders simple tools to spark kindness and inclusion. Created by teen leaders in our Kindness Ambassador Leadership Program, they draw from real experiences launching the Magical Tennis Club, Magical Tennis & Friendship Camp, and the Magical Friendship Club. Now, their learnings can help you build something magical in your own school or community. We're here to guide you as you get started. Email us with your ideas or questions!

Why This Matters

Play and social connection have the power to bring us together. Yet for many with cognitive or developmental differences, opportunities in schools, sports, and friendships are still out of reach. We believe belonging should never depend on ability.

NBC BAY AREA PROUD FEATURE
After starting a Magical Bridge Club at their high school, Ava and Sophia launched the first Magical Tennis program in Palo Alto. In just five weeks, they created a one-to-one adaptive sports experience that brought teens, families, and neurodivergent participants together through the power of play. Now, together with our team, they’ve created the materials to help you do the same in your own school or community.

Meet the Kindness Ambassadors Behind The Playbooks

These Playbooks were created by teen leaders who turned their ideas into real programs, from inclusive tennis to friendship clubs, showing how kindness and inclusion can grow from a single spark. They designed these resources to make it easier for you to do the same in your own community, creating a ripple effect of belonging that reaches even further.

Meet Ava & Sophia

Inspired by the spirit of inclusion at the Magical Bridge Playground, Ava Randall and Sophia Stavrakos brought that same vision to their sport. What began as a high school club grew into Magical Tennis and later the Magical Tennis & Friendship Camp, uniting athletes of all abilities through play and friendship.

Meet Izzy

As a longtime Kindness Ambassador Leader, Isabelle (Izzy) Grimmer has played a vital role at Magical Bridge, from running our summer concert series to mentoring and organizing fellow Ambassadors. Inspired by her brother, Izzy envisioned a space where friendships could grow for teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With the support of the Magical Bridge Foundation, she is launching the Magical Friendship Club as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award project, the highest honor in Girl Scouts and the equivalent of the Eagle Scout Award. The club is a place where laughter, connection, and community take center stage.

Together, we can make every community a place where everyone belongs.
