The San Jose Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is reimagining the The River Oaks campus at 3331 North First Street in San Jose, California. The project will include affordable housing and urban design that enhances pedestrian walkability, bike access, and connectivity to transit. The 18-acre project, which includes a Magical Bridge Playground, will provide environmental and public health benefits, increase transit ridership and reduce auto dependence, and enhance economic competitiveness. We are proud to partner with the VTA to bring such important assets to San Jose.
Magical Bridge joins EDEN Housing, FORA Architects, and BASE Landscape Architects in developing this exciting new VTA development in San Jose. Our playgrounds are universally designed for all ages and abilities, providing a safe and accessible outdoor play space for all, including the 1-in-4 of us living with physical and cognitive disabilities, autism, sensory challenges, as well as for the medically fragile and our aging population.
